About Our School

Little Flower Public School (LFPS) is part of the Little Flower educational network which has it’s presence in Tirunelveli since 1979. It was founded and nurtured by Mr. A. MARIASUSAI, Chairman, Little Flower Schools, a well-known social entrepreneur with a vision to provide quality education to young growing minds from diverse backgrounds. His vision continues to benefit thousands of children. LFPS is another milestone in our journey, in renewing our faith to serve the needs of the young minds towards the pursuit of excellence in today’s competitive arena.

Principal's Message

The success of Little Flower Public School is a harmonious blend of a committed and supportive management, co-operative parents, dedicated teachers and a child – centric environment. I would like to brief the initiatives that we have undertaken this academic year 2018-19. Having in mind the tough competition our children are to face in future, we have developed a ‘Science Foundation‘ course in partnership with T.I.M.E to give a strong capability for the years to come. We feel confident that our children are getting ready to face the competitive world. To stimulate the Reading habit among the children, we started the reading Programme from Grade I to Grade IX. The library has also been beefed up with books that can cater to different reading levels of children. Edusports bridges the child’s health and fitness. Our target is to facilitate the child for a holistic learning where by the child will be confident to explore his true potential. We are a school with a difference. Our focus is on academic excellence, creativity and innovation and strive to nurture them in our students. We believe that with the constant support of the parents, we will continue to make learning a joyful and meaningful experience.

Correspondent's Message

It gives great pleasure for me as an educator to meet you all through this Newsletter. We continued this year with a single minded focus on delivering a holistic curriculum. In this world of uncertainty and competitiveness it is important to help the children face the challenges that life throws on them. The childhood education plays a critical role in every child shaping up as a citizen of good personality and character. The school has taken up initiatives in developing a good grade of teachers with experience and fresh outlook. They have handled the education of the children with utmost care and concern.

The school follows a comprehensive assessment method so that the children’s ability to absorb the concept and develop the skills such as reading, writing, listening, critical thinking, analyzing and reasoning is built around the same concept. This is carefully implemented and it results in a deeper understanding of concepts. Needless to say, the school and its teachers have it in their DNA, that every child is special and every child has a talent to develop. It is our duty to tune every child to his fullest potential.
